New Support Website

Visit the new support website and leave feedback

LabStats Support is getting a new website for our knowledge base. The new site will go live in May. We want to make sure our knowledge base answers all of your questions. If there are any features that we do not currently have documentation for, or if you have any questions that are not answered in our existing articles, please take a moment to contact support and let us know.

New Features

We are excited to announce some great new features for LabStats:

Single Sign-On

With single sign on, there is no need for your users to remember a new username and password. Users can now log in to the LabStats Portal using the same credentials that they use within your organization. Even better, this ensures access to LabStats—and the data collected by it—is governed by your own security policies, including password policies and permissions controls. SSO is enabled by using Microsoft Azure Active Directory.

Citrix Virtualization Support (beta)

Support for VDI environments has been expanded. In addition to supporting VMware, we have just added beta support for Citrix.

API Updates

Two new enhancements have been made to the LabStats API. First, a new viewer template has been added. Viewer templates give you a starting point to help you build dashboards, applications, and other tools using LabStats data. Second, the GetGroupHeirarchy API endpoint has been updated to include machine operating system information.

On-Premises Connection Settings Encryption

Database connection settings for the on-premises version of LabStats can now be encrypted to keep database credentials secure. Contact Support to learn how to enable the encryption.

These new features are available now for all customers using LabStats Cloud-Based. If you are running LabStats On-Premises, an updated server installer is available.

New In-Office Account Manager

We’ve been making some changes at LabStats. With the need for our Account Managers to travel more than ever, we have hired a new Account Manager. Jenn Bush will be your in-office contact to assist existing customers with account needs. She is available to assist with payments, licenses questions, pricing, or just to get the right person to answer your questions!
