LabStats provides various templates to collect and analyze data from computers. The Metadata Template focuses on gathering physical traits of computers, such as manufacturer and available storage, allowing users to manipulate data based on hardware characteristics. This can help answer key questions about the hardware’s performance and usage.

The Hardware Template and Software Template offer detailed insights on device and software usage. The Hardware Template includes data on peak computer usage, unique users, machines used, user sessions, and deployed stations. All this data is available at both campus and individual levels. Similarly, the Software Template tracks the current number of devices with software installed, peak simultaneous users, software launches, unique software users, and the count of stations where the software is used. This information can also be sorted by campus and individual locations.
